Cinquecento wins the German Radio Prize for Outstanding Promise ("Förderpreis Deutschlandfunk") in Bremen

Intendant Dr. Thomas Albert, Pianistin Hélène Grimaud, und ein Teil von Cinquecento

We are delighted to announce that Cinquecento has been awarded the German Radio Prize for Outstanding Promise. The prize follows a performance we gave on August 20th on the opening night of the Musikfest in Bremen. On 11th September we attended the award ceremony in Bremen town hall, performing a couple of pieces in the company of Prof. Thomas Albert (Director of Musikfest Bremen) and the winner of the Outstanding Achievement Award the luminous pianist Helene Grimaud! We are so grateful to be recognised by such illustrious promoters of the arts, and look forward to next year in Bremen and Cologne, where we shall perform and record as part of our award.
